Updated Skincare Routine

Hi, beauties, it feels great to be acne free but not so great to have to deal with what the acne left behind! lots of UGLY DARK SPOTS! I went almost a whole year without a skincare routine because I was fighting the acne and too scared to put anything on my face that wasn't Panoxyl (the treatment that cleared my skin). Panoxyl works wonders, it only took 3 months to clear my skin (l had severe acne) and I continued to use it to prevent any future breakouts. Now that the acne is gone I'm stuck with the dark spots and discoloration, so I decided to start a new skincare routine that would help my clear dark spots, even out my skintone, and give me a healthy glow, oh yes and to help prevent any future acne( didn't want to forget that ). When it comes to skincare I decide which products will work best for me based on the ingredients. The 2 main things I look for are #1 Benzoyl Peroxide and #2 salicylic acid. Both helps clear acne and clears it fast based on the percentage. Panoxyl has 10% of Benzoyl Peroxide which is a very high strength and that's mainly why it works so fast, The AcneFree Cleanser I use has 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide, The Neutrogena Scrub I use has 2.5% Salicylic Acid and the Neutrogena lotion/moisturizer has 2.0% Salicylic Acid. And now here is my routine!
First: I start by wiping away any eye makeup with a damp cotton ball, Then I cleanse my skin using the AcneFree Cleanser along with the AcneFree Cleansing (Purchased both for $12 at walmart) brush to insure I get as much dirt out of my pores as possible.

Next: I apply the Neutrogena Rapid Clear: Foaming Scrub ($15 at Walmart comes with the lotion) and I use the AcneFree Cleansing Brush to work that nicely into my skin, I like to let that set for about 10 minutes and then, rinse.

Lastly: I apply the Neutrogena Rapid Clear: Acne defense Face lotion, which I love because it's oil free and leaves my skin soft and smooth and hydrated throughout the day.

During the day to keep my face clean and moistened I use some acne wipes I purchased at dollar tree for only $1 that's surprisingly amazing.; And I apply just a little albolene to give myself a little natural glow.

And that's it! I try to limit the quantity of products I use on my skin because using too much can clog up your pores and then you have to deal with acne again, No Thank You!
Now that my skin is back to looking normal I can start working on my makeup tutorials which I know you'll love so be on the look out for that!
